The next thematic breakfast will take place on Tuesday 28th March on the theme: « Uberisation: what role for trusted third parties in terms of security and digital trust ? «

Uberisation, at the heart of digital transformation, is often said to bring about disintermediation. Notaries, banks and insurance companies are now challenged by new models based on platforms and blockchain based systems. But traditional players are reacting to adapt to this new reality, and to address the security and digital trust challenges of an increasingly dematerialized world. In the meantime, new players entrusted with the responsibility to secure digital transactions of all kinds are also emerging, like certification authorities. Does this mean that contrary to what many suggest, trusted third parties are not doomed to disappear ? And would it not be more accurate to call it re-intermediation ?

These questions will discussed by:

  • IDnomic, a key player in digital identities protection and management,
  • A representative of the House of Notaries,
  • Denis Jacquet, the author of « Ubérisation, cet ennemi qui vous veut du bien » (ed. Dunod), who will be awarded the FIC2017 Book Prize.
